Responsibilities
- Design and develop curriculum, programs, and learning solutions for a diverse, global employee base.
- Communicate clearly with subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather pertinent information; keep stakeholders and SMEs apprised of process updates; follow up to ensure project completion and success.
- Identify instructional strategies and assessments that align with learning goals and outcomes.
- Conduct research and interview SMEs to elicit highly complex content and distill it into easily digestible chunks.
- Produce learning materials in a variety of formats, including eLearning modules, webinars, videos, quick reference guides, process diagrams, performance supports, curated content, live facilitator trainings, etc.
- Evaluate program effectiveness and modify learning programs as needed.
- Deploy content and analyze metrics of our Learning Management System.
- Manage learning projects and programs from project brief to post-project reporting.
Qualifications
- 3+ years’ experience in instructional design and developing adult learning
- Knowledge and experience Adult Learning standards and practices such as ADDIE, Bloom’s taxonomy, Kirkpatrick’s levels of evaluation, and other instructional design methodologies
- Solid understanding of visual design principles
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Education, or Communications
- Experience conducting stakeholder needs/gap analysis and writing performance objectives, course curricula, training design documents, facilitator guides
- Ability to communicate effectively in visual, oral, and written forms
- Ability to thrive in collaborative, faced-paced environments
- Strong project management and time management skills
- Proficient in all phases of eLearning development – outline, design document, scripting, storyboarding, eLearning development, audio recording/editing, video recording/editing publishing
- Leveraging multiple authoring tools comparable to Articulate 360 and Camtasia
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Products, including PowerPoint
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and competing priorities
- Requires conceptual and innovative thinking
- Exhibits a high degree of decision making and independence
- Eastern Time Zone, up to10 % travel
