Instructional Design Contract Job

Our global software client is seeking an Instructional Design/eLearning/Multimedia Consultant with excellent creative skills to revamp their cultural training for new hires. The goal is to give employees a sense of the culture from a DEI standpoint and to motivate them to grow and make changes. The training will start with a focus on DEI within individuals, then the team, and then the organization. The course should be very engaging and animated. Project deliverable will be one 30-35 minute long eLearning module using existing content. The client has some ideas about scenarios to incorporate into the training.

Skills & Experience Requirements:

• Degree in Instructional Technologies or Education preferred with solid knowledge of adult learning principles.
• 8+ years’ experience in Instructional Design & eLearning Development for large companies including creating eLearning with multimedia features.
• Excellent multimedia expertise including creating engaging and creative eLearning with animations, creating and editing videos, creating motion graphics, and recording and editing voice over and other audio.
• Must be highly proficient in Articulate Storyline and RISE, Adobe Creative Suite and Adobe Audition and Aftereffects (client can provide licenses if needed).
• Must have built training for a global audience.
• Experience creating DEI courses, a plus.
• Experience working in the tech industry, a plus.
• Must be able to share excellent samples or sample portfolio prior to interview or via screenshare during a Zoom interview.
• Consultant must be able to provide a rough estimate on hours to complete the work post-interview.

Start Date: Mid-Nov targeted.
Duration: Project to be completed by EOY 2023.
Hours: Working hours per week TBD. Working hours will b e flexible (client in California).

Pay: The pay range for this role is $60 to $85 per hour. Individual pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications, and specific work location.
