    To design training courses and materials in compliance with the process of learning using eLearning tools, specifically creating eLearning modules and documents intended to support the onboarding training of new colleagues.

    ***Remote Position – 20 hours per week – schedule is flexible – the contractor will need to be flexible to meet with others in the department periodically to discuss and update projects.

    Responsibilities:

    • Designs courseware and course certification in compliance with the company process of learning.
    • Creates pre-, post-, and behavioral change assessments as appropriate.
    • Creates and maintains training material and ensures that adult learning principles are applied.
    • Partners with various subject matter experts to design content where appropriate.
    • Produces and/or creates engaging visual content that will keep concepts fresh and relevant for colleagues.
    • Manages project schedules, organizes tasks, and reports on progress.

    Requirements:

    • Designer with Articulate Rise & Storyline Experience – Adobe InDesign Experience

    Skills & Knowledge Experience:

    • Knowledge of all aspects of Adult Learning, including analyzing performance needs, designing training materials including e-learning content, instructing/facilitating, evaluating training, and coaching the application of training
    • Good knowledge of human performance technology and consulting
    • Skilled in Articulate Rise & Storyline
    • Skilled in Adobe InDesign
    • Good knowledge of e-learning theories and technologies
    • Excellent oral and written communication, including presentation skills
    • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products
    • Analytical and interpretive skills
    • Strong organizational skills
    • Advanced implementation skills
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • Ability to manage multiple, time-sensitive priorities meeting internal and external customer needs
    • Ability to work independently
    • Ability to work in a team environment

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design or Education from an accredited college or university preferred.
    • Preferred Six (6) years of developing adult learning (including e-learning) or equivalent combination of education and experience required to include advanced knowledge of instructional design-related tools.
