Position Responsibilities:
- Serve as a lead Learner Experience Designer/Instructional Designer on projects as assigned and manage related project activity with minimal or no guidance
- Lead Integrated Training Programs and work with cross-functional teams to collaboratively analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate training initiatives to develop applicable learning modalities to meet the specific learner needs
- Engage with internal stakeholders and customers to scope learning opportunities that will push the business forward and help our customers adopt and continually learn complex solutions to help them achieve success in their day-to-day jobs
- Design and develop cutting edge learning experiences that meet learner needs and are scalable to accommodate different geographies, environments, and audiences
- Focus on both content (ID approach) and user experience (UX approach)
- Lead end-to-end management of multiple projects at one time
- Challenge others and step outside of the traditional learning design box and take risks in order to further engage learners
- Represent the Training organization as part of Integrated Program Teams to advocate and champion end-user needs, and Training Services
This position is hybrid. This means that the selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options. Englewood, CO. This is at the hiring team’s discretion and could potentially change in the future.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 5+ years of Learner Experience Design/Instructional Design, including analysis, design, and evaluation of complex technical learning solutions in an Agile software environment
- 5+ years developing and implementing blended learning solutions such as ILT, VLT, video, eLearning, documentation (i.e. Articulate, Captivate, Web Help), etc.
- 3+ years leading training programs/projects to create innovative training solutions
- Experience in Learner Experience/Instructional Design developing data/software training for a global audience
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Bachelor’s degree or higher or equivalent experience
Typical Education:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years’ related work experience, Master+7 years’ related work experience, 13 years’ related work experience, etc.).
