Moodle Users Association is the community arm of the Moodle LMS which allows the members to propose and vote for their favorite projects to include in the LMS. The MUA has contributed many useful projects in Moodle LMS over past few years e.g. Bulk Activity Editing, Ordering Type questions in Moodle core etc.

The Moodle Users Association’s July-December 2023 project development cycle is currently ongoing. The Preliminary Voting is currently going on for the projects. Now MUA committee has extended the deadline by 2 more weeks. He mentioned”

“Unfortuntely, we didn’t send out an email when the voting opened for the current project cycle. As a result, I’ve extended the voting for another two weeks. Voting will end on September 29th, 2023.”

In a recent announcement, Steven Miley posted about the extension of the Preliminary Voting deadline. So, you can now cast your votes until September 29, 2023. There are only 6 projects proposed in this current Project Development Cycle which are:

  • MUA: Moodle Report Builder – Add Customizable SQL Functionality
  • Improve availability of activities and resources overview pages in Boost theme
  • Show information for teachers about submissions on the course main page in the Boost theme
  • Moodle Wiki export and import
  • Allow session stores to fully manage the session ==> never touch mdl_sessions table!
  • Allow Activity Completion Settings for Topics/Weeks

If you are also a Moodle users Association member, you are requested to cast your votes for the current Project Development Cycle.
