    YOUR ROLE

    As the Senior Instructional Designer with Evergreen Nephrology, you will play a meaningful role in helping build our company from the ground up. You will wear many hats as a part of our small early-stage department, from instructional designer to elearning developer, to script writer and project manager. You will work closely with the Director of Learning and Development to set ID standards and processes, as well as teach and mentor other team members. You will work closely with other departments to design and deliver learner-centered education, whether it be elearning, instructor-led, or hybrid.

    PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

    • Create high-level designs and learning journeys by role that are scalable, learner-centric, innovative, inclusive, and research-informed.
    • Create engaging and meaningful learning experiences for a variety of roles and programs across the organization.
    • Design and develop performance support resources such as, job aids, reference guides, and toolkits.
    • Collaborate closely with the Learning and Development team, internal stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to design learning experiences aligned to organizational priorities.
    • Facilitate and lead content creation and experience design sessions, works to assess learner skill gaps, and clearly defines instructional objectives.
    • Manage multiple projects that may have competing timelines and resources.
    • Assist the Director of Learning and Development in building capacity in instructional design on the team and across the organization.
    • Consistently demonstrate positive interpersonal relations with all levels of the organization and cooperate harmoniously with others in the accomplishment of the organization’s strategic goals.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    • You have strong visual design skills and experience with tools like photoshop, Canva, Snagit, Camtasia.
    • You are proficient in Microsoft 365 with strong PowerPoint skills.
    • You have experience with Action Mapping.
    • You have experience creating job-realistic learning scenarios.
    • You have experience writing fair and valid assessments.
    • You have strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • You have the ability to analyze, organize, and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
    • You have a bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, or related field, master’s preferred.
    • You have 7-10 years’ experience working in instructional design, learning and development, or related function, healthcare experience preferred.
