    The Manager of Corporate Learning oversees the design, coordination, and delivery of a variety of training and development programs for all levels of Team Members including new hire orientation, human resources, corporate department training, career development, computer-based training, and leadership skills. This role is also responsible for ensuring accessibility and inclusion in all components of the learning and training strategies.

    Minimum Requirements
    A combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.
    Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent post-secondary degree required in Human Resources Management, Organizational Development, Organizational Leadership, Training and Development, Education, or a related field.
    Certification: Yes
    • Myers Briggs type indicator, Behavior Based Interview Skills, and/or other professional certifications.
    • Certification to administer Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP).
    Years of Experience:
    • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in areas of management and leadership development, instructional design, public speaking, and group facilitation.
    • Minimum three (3) years of experience with direct report management.
    • Experience in assessing performance gaps, analyzing learning needs, designing and developing learning and performance support solutions, facilitating learning activities, and evaluating the effectiveness of learning programs.
    • Experience developing and delivering learning programs and supporting the development of leadership skills, professional skills, and technical skills.
    • Experience conducting a job task analysis and developing blended learning programs which include face-to-face instructor-led training, virtual instructor-led training, asynchronous learning activities, self-paced eLearning, electronic performance support, video demonstrations, software simulations, soft skills simulations, and management simulations.
    • Experience in Instructional Design from assessment to implementation.
    • Ability to manage multiple company-wide projects with minimal oversight, in a fast-paced, cost-conscious environment with multiple and sometimes changing priorities.
    • Ability to influence and partner with different levels including senior leaders of the organization to achieve results.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication, data management, and interpersonal skills.
    • High-quality document and report preparation.
    • Experience working with business and learning technologies including M365, eLearning development software like Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Connect, Learning Management Systems, A/V software and equipment.
    • Strong business and HR acumen, including problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
    • Ability to deliver results in a dynamic and ambiguous environment.
    • Strong background in direct report management and support.
    Job Duties
    • Oversees the learning and development team, designs learning and development, and develops content for programs such as orientation, leadership development, and compliance.
    • Monitors learning and development resource allocation including creating and managing training budget.
    • Draws upon proven expertise in adult learning principles for recommendation and selection of delivery methods (online CBT, classroom, individual learning programs, virtual classroom, blended learning, small-group training, etc.).
    • Conducts needs assessments for various functions to determine learning and development requirements.
    • Implements communication strategies to raise awareness and promote learning and development opportunities.
    • Partners & collaborate with cross-functional teams (including operations teams, people services, talent acquisition, ER specialists, Culture/Engagement, instructional designers, etc.) to build on existing learning programs, identify opportunities for company-wide programs, and incorporate other best practices for additional, internal training teams.
    • Develops and implement additional L&D strategies and programs that are focused on team member and leadership competencies.
    • Manages department employees, including performance management, coaching, and development, and proactively builds team skill sets to increase bench strength and allow for succession planning.
    • Ensures access and inclusion in outputs by the department.
    • Oversees the company’s new leadership transition, mentoring, and onboarding programs.
    • Conducts one-on-one interviews and focus groups to identify organizational development needs.
    • Implements leadership & talent development programs for in-tact teams, which may include facilitating:
    • Face-to-face instructor-led training.
    • Virtual instructor-led training.
    • Computer-based training.
    • One-on-one mentoring & coaching.
    • Team Meetings/Team Building activities.
    • Leadership Conferences; All hands meetings.
    • Manages and oversees the Learning Management System that includes:
    • Learning & curriculum management.
    • Tracking & reporting course completions.
    • Records and training compliance.
    • Maintaining accuracy & relevancy of program materials.
    • Evaluating the effectiveness of learning programs and activities administered.
    • Supports Instructional Designers.
    • Develops and execute a learning evaluation strategy, which includes:
    Learner reaction, Knowledge acquisition, Behavior change, Business impact/results.
    • Ensure any direct reports understand and apply our Customer Commitment, Team Commitment, and customer service standards to their daily responsibilities, as appropriate.
    • Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing leadership direction.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Physical Demands / Work Environment
    Office – While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature, and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
