    Job Description

    We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative Instructional Designer to join our dynamic team. As an Instructional Designer at Massey Services, you will play a crucial role in crafting engaging and effective learning experiences for our team members. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, content creators, and other stakeholders to design and develop innovative learning solutions.

    Summary Of Responsibilities

    • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify learning objectives and gather content.
    • Design and develop comprehensive instructional materials, including e-learning modules, instructor-led training, videos, assessments, and job aids.
    • Apply adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to create engaging and learner-centered content.
    • Incorporate multimedia elements, interactive activities, and simulations to enhance the learning experience.
    • Manage the end-to-end instructional design process, from needs analysis to evaluation and feedback.
    • Utilize various authoring and multimedia tools to create and edit learning materials.
    • Ensure all learning materials are consistent with branding guidelines and standards.
    • Stay up to date with industry trends and technologies to bring innovative approaches to learning design.

    Minimum Qualifications – Education, Experience, And Skills

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Technical problem-solver, able to work independently or with small team to solve process and systems problems.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Systems, Technical Education, Instructional Design, Education or similar.
    • Expertise in developing, evaluating, and redesigning face-to-face, fully online, and hybrid/blended courses.
    • Expertise with one or more learning management systems.
    • Expertise with one or more eLearning authoring tool (e.g., Articulate 360, Rise, Storyline, etc.)
    • Ability to adapt to changes and consistently meet deadlines.
    • Motivated by helping others and providing excellent customer service.
    • Ability to communicate at all levels of the organization.
    • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously handle a large and diverse number of tasks and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence.
