    The Training Manager North America is responsible for setting up and conducting learning initiatives regionally, operationally and during implementation. He/she will work to develop and administer learning programs that enable our employees to do their job professionally; increasing productivity, speed to proficiency, and engagement.

    Reviews existing training programs, suggests enhancements and modifications to improve engagement, learning, retention and/or to meet the changing needs of the organization and/or the industry.
    Identifies problems and opportunities in collaboration with the operations / implementation team, such as operational changes or industry developments that training could improve.
    Ensures that training materials and programs are current, accurate, and effective.
    Maintains knowledge of new methods and techniques for training, and training requirements applicable to the organization and/or industry.
    Suggests the most suitable form of training for the variety of training needed (classroom, eLearning, video, podcast, self-study, etc.)
    Creates new training programs, using state-of the art techniques, methods, and systems.
    Conducts or facilitates required and recommended training sessions.
    Collaborates with vendors and third-party training providers to arrange employee registration for and participation in outside training programs.
    Ensures that training milestones and goals are met while adhering to approved training budget.
    Performs other related duties as assigned.

    Requirements:

    4-7 years of training management experience

    Strong background in learning and development preferably in a supply chain, logistics, distribution or warehouse organization

    Experience creating and implementing hourly, salaried and leadership training standards and validation processes

    Bachelor’s Degree in HR or Business Administration

    Willingness to travel nationwide 50-75%

    Training software knowledge (Cornerstone, Alchemy etc)
