Under general supervision, analyze, design, and develop comprehensive training and educational media. Leverage expertise in communication, adult learning principles, and innovative technologies to facilitate change. Create customized eLearning materials, simulated and hands-on interactivities, print and online information resources, and focused evaluations to achieve performance improvement objectives for learners.
Essential Functions:
- Analyze content, target audience, roles, job tasks, and learner environment to identify appropriate instructional strategies and define learning objectives. (10%)
- Design education for the most appropriate delivery modalities for each project and audience. (10%)
- Develop educational deliverables, curricula, and communication that appeal to a broad spectrum of adult learning styles and needs and meet adult-learning best practices. (10%)
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop and modify instructional material. (10%)
- Develop, coordinate, and manage timelines, resources, and milestones. (10%)
- Facilitate train-the-trainer and in-classroom learning as needed. (10%)
- Communicate with a diverse group of stakeholders at different levels within the organization regarding project and non-project work. (10%)
- Establish and support the development of best practices and standard work for continuous process improvement. (5%)
- Partner with Project Managers to analyze performance gaps and implement change. (5%)
- Continually collaborate with Portfolio Manager to build and execute a personal career development plan. (5%)
- Remain current on all job-related knowledge, technical skills, credentialing, and certification requirements. (5%)
- Actively participate in formal and informal department, team, and organization functions. (5%)
- Leverage and strive to expand knowledge of Instructional Design and Change Management best practices. (5%)
- Bachelor’s Degree Related field. Required
- 1-3 years Related experience. Required
- Extensive knowledge of adult learning theory and change management methodology.
- Digital and print design skills.
- Excellent communication skills – verbal, presentation, and written.
- Problem analysis and problem solving.
- Planning and organizing skill set.
- Effectively builds and manages relationships.
- Strong attention to detail.
- In-classroom facilitation abilities.
- Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Articulate Storyline experience required.
- Adobe Captivate experience preferred.
- Knowledge of advanced graphic design and video development tools preferred.
- Microsoft SharePoint experience preferred.
