    The LMS Specialist leads the development and administration of Learning Management Systems, including building programs, creating and analyzing reports, and building and coordinating assignments of coursework; monitoring course content, approvals, and evaluation processes; maintaining data integrity guidelines and processes; establishing and monitoring security roles and access levels; building LMS data and measurable reports; and supporting learning and development activities across the organization.

    Qualifications:
    EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
    Associate’s Degree in Related field or Experience in Lieu of Education – Three years of relevant experience

    EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
    Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with database systems such as learning management systems, human resources information systems, electronic health records (i.e., Epic), or an equivalent combination of education and experience which would provide required knowledge, skills and abilities. Experience with eLearning, course authoring software is preferred and experience with staff training, process improvement, project management, and work in the health care industry is beneficial.

    SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
    Must possess excellent customer service and support skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Knowledge of NetDimensions, BlackBoard or other learning management systems. Understanding of web-based platforms, such as GoToTraining and Skype for Business. Knowledge of the basic fundamentals and technical support of instructional design. Proficient using scheduling, productivity, and communication tools including charts, spreadsheets, and conference technologies. Ability to organize and work under strict time and production deadlines, while producing quality deliverables. Ability to function as a creative self-starter and to work independently. Ability to learn new software and systems quickly. Ability to troubleshoot problems that arise with learning modules. Excellent written and verbal English skills for the purpose of documentation development, curriculum development, editing and communication. Proficient in course authoring software such as Articulate, Adobe publishing applications.

    Essential Functions:

    • Lead the establishment, documentation and enforcement of security roles and access levels, registration, scheduling, and cancellation policies and procedures and work with LMS contributors to ensure proper setup and system support for complex learning activities within the LMS
    • Manage and maintain data integrity for the LMS functions which include course descriptions, course or class changes, instructors, monitoring course content, course approvals, and evaluation processes ensuring processes are completed within given timeframes
    • Support the development of eLearning/instructor-led courses to include content, video and narration utilizing appropriate publishing and recording programs, assign training programs, monitor training enrollment, add/delete resources, monitor accounts, reset passwords, and maintain system parameters
    • Provide training and technical support to users, supervisors, administrators, and others who interact with the LMS and create technical and procedural documentation as needed
    • Generate, analyze, and distribute data reports to the Talent Development team and other staff, as needed
    • Provide system maintenance which includes upgrades and updates, configuration, troubleshooting, debugging, and user access testing and analyze, identify, and communicate LMS system and business requirements to vendors
