The Global Learning Systems Specialist will be the owner for learning product governance and administration, with emphasis on the learning management system, by defining and enforcing policies and standards for the platform. Policies and standards will encompass course publishing best practices, naming conventions, and back-end content management architecture.

Additionally, the Learning Systems Specialist will be responsible for defining system user-level tiers and profiles to ensure that the right users/admins have the right level of access. This role will collaborate with cross functional stakeholders and external platform vendors, define business requirements, create and support the governance policies and systems needed for ILT delivery (in-person and/or virtual), self-paced learning, program reporting, and individual department KPIs with regard to learning objectives for customer, partner, and internal enablement functions.

The impact you will have:

  • Define and assign user permissions with appropriate (and restricted) permission levels
  • Collaborate cross functionally with enablement teams to define best practices and governance policies for the LMS; Inspecting/enforcing use of standards
  • Drive requirements with Strategy & Operations for platform integrations to be implemented by IT from the LMS to various other tools (SFDC, Workday, etc.)
  • Mediate between stakeholders and the LMS vendor when we have issues with the LMS (e.g., our LMS instance is having performance problems, and we have to coordinate with the vendor support team)
  • Optimize functionality and make recommendations on how to utilize features to streamline work / make things work better
  • Manage LMS related support tickets, processes and SLAs
  • Create processes, workflows, and best practices that drive efficiencies within the different learning platforms

What we look for:

  • Experience in LMS systems (preferably Docebo, Skilljar, Learndot, Mindtickle, or Workramp)
  • Understand requirements needed for LMS as it relates to eLearning, ILT, and certifications
  • Demonstrated experience in Sales, Presales, and/or Customer Success (or similar field in consulting, industry)
  • Should have familiarity with LMS technical integration (SSO, LTI, payment gateway integration, etc.)
  • Strong track record for taking data-driven actions
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Positive contributor to team and company culture
