PROVIDE ASSISTANCE TO FACULTY IN THE DESIGN AND DEVELOPMENT OF EFFECTIVE WEB-ENHANCED, BLENDED, AND ONLINE COURSES UTILIZING EVIDENCE-BASED INSTRUCTIONAL METHODS. SUPPORT INSTITUTIONAL EFFORTS FOR INCREASING QUALITY IN COURSE DESIGN. DESIGNS AND COORDINATES TRAINING OPPORTUNITIES.
Required Quals Summary
1. Master’s degree in Instructional or Educational Technology, Instructional Design, Distance Learning, eLearning, or related field.
2. Experience with online course development applying instructional design, pedagogical, and adult learning theories.
3. Expert in Windows and Office software.
4. Experience with learning management systems.
5. Experience in webpage and site development.
6. Experience with recording, converting, and editing digital video and audio.
7. Experience utilizing Quality Matters standards.
8. Experience in designing and delivering both online and face-to-face workshops.
9. Experience designing accessible materials.
