    Responsible for overseeing all aspects of instructional design and will serve as the L&D project liaison for company projects.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Analyze existing instructional material to suggest and apply improvements, assess learning needs and develop or curate learning content and materials.
    • Design, develop, maintain instructor-led training and work in a variety of mediums – including print, webinars, classroom guides, eLearning and video – to develop materials that are interactive, appealing, and useful for the target audience.
    • Develop and execute assessment process to measure the impact and effectiveness of training, then make improvements to ensure continuous improvement.
    • Research, interview, and collaborate with subject matter experts and trainers.
    • Ensure training content is current, relevant, accurate, and consistently aligned with organizational goals.
    • Collaborate with eLearning Development to transfer learning content to Tompkins’ LMS platform.
    • Remain current in regards to instructional design trends, strategies and solutions.
    • Serve as the L&D liaison for corporate projects when a resource is requested.
    • Participates as requested as project lead or team member in other projects.
    • Conduct new hire teller training one time per month as needed based on job openings.
    • Facilitate learning sessions as requested.
    • Complete all other duties assigned.

    Required Qualifications:

    • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum five (5) years of experience in learning and development/human resources with proven curriculum design or content development experience.
    • Ability to apply performance consulting techniques
    • Experience delivering a wide variety of training solutions
    • Experience in project management
    • Critical thinker with demonstrated problem solving skills
    • Strong communicator in written and oral communications
    • Articulate and confident in facilitation
    • Organized and self-directed
    • Results driven with the ability to handle multiple deadlines under pressure.
