Instructional Designer (Mostly Virtual)

Seeking an Instructional Designer to create technical and system training material.
You will:

• Conduct needs assessment and job analysis
• Research, design, and develop training scope, timeline, and deliverables (e.g., PPTs, job aids, user guides, quick reference guides, e-learning, and virtual and instructor led training courses) and consult with clients to determine appropriate training solution
• Translate complex technical project information (e.g., functional specifications, test scripts, vendor documentation) into training material for technical and non-technical audiences
• Present train-the-trainer sessions
• Manage multiple projects, including scope, milestones, schedules, deliverables, and resources, in support of training goals and objectives

Pay: $42.39/hour W2

Start: ASAP
Duration: 18 months
Location: Rosemead, CA. Local candidates only – hybrid model with 1-2 days per week onsite.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree
• 5+ years of instructional design experience
• Systems training or technical training experience
• Experience developing blended learning solutions and training plans and strategies
• Proficiency with MS Office, Snagit, and Captivate, Camtasia, Storyline
• Experience developing training for an SAP or Salesforce software implementation
• Experience in developing training as part of an Agile software development project preferred
• Visio and SharePoint experience preferred
