Key Responsibilities:
Leadership Development:
- Spearhead the creation and execution of leadership development programs that align with business goals.
- Design frameworks to cultivate critical leadership skills for both immediate and future objectives.
- Foster a culture of leadership growth through structured training, coaching, and experiential learning opportunities.
- Conduct succession planning and talent assessments to ensure the organization is prepared for future leadership needs.
- Maintain a roster of individuals identified for leadership development activities.
Training Program Development:
- Design and implement comprehensive training programs that align with organizational goals and individual development needs.
- Develop engaging, relevant, and up-to-date curriculum and course materials.
- Collaborate with department heads and HR to identify training requirements.
Training Delivery:
- Facilitate training sessions on key topics.
- Coordinate the scheduling and delivery of training programs to ensure accessibility.
- Manage logistics, including scheduling, venue booking, equipment setup, and communication with participants.
Performance Evaluation:
- Analyze performance metrics to identify areas of improvement.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, surveys, and feedback.
- Implement improvements and updates based on feedback and assessment results.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Partner with senior management and department heads to ensure training effectiveness.
- Engage with external training providers as needed.
- Communicate the benefits of training programs to drive participation.
Employee Development:
- Support the creation of individual development plans that foster career growth.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, coaching, and knowledge sharing.
Organizational Development:
- Oversee and enhance change management initiatives and policies.
- Propose structural changes to optimize talent and develop key leaders.
Administrative Duties:
- Maintain accurate training records and generate reports on training impact.
- Manage the Learning Management System (LMS) to keep training records updated.
- Prepare and manage the L&D budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
- Monitor expenses related to training programs and materials.
- Ensure training programs comply with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Prepare and present reports on training activities, outcomes, and metrics to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Business, or a related field.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in Training/Learning Management, with a focus on leadership and organizational development.
- Skills:
- Self-motivated individual comfortable speaking with all levels of management.
- Ability to interpret data analytics.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Excel is required, including use of lookups and pivot tables as well as MS office suite.
- Ability to create training materials: eLearning courses, facilitator guides and participant workbooks.
- Desire to thrive in a dynamic and growing environment.
- Adapts well to fast-paced environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
- Demonstrates ability to operate independently while meeting deadlines with limited supervision.
- Strategic thinking and leadership abilities.
- Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
- Proficiency with Learning Management Systems (LMS).
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
