A TYPICAL DAY WILL INCLUDE THE FOLLOWING . . .:
- Reports to the Training & Development (T&D) Manager
- Operates within the Company’s Core Values, Company Brand, and Business Principles
- Supports T&D vision by creating engaging learning experiences, trainings, and core curriculum materials
- Applies adult learning theories in the creation of practical, application-based learning solutions
- Assesses learning needs and drafts behavioral learning objectives directly connected to business outcomes.
- Collaborates with SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to identify learning objectives, design learning solutions, and develop and deliver content
- Designs and develops learning solutions that achieve desired outcomes using a variety of modalities, including but not limited to instructor-led training, eLearning, self-directed learning, and microlearning.
- Measures learning efficacy via formative and summative assessments and Kirkpatrick methodology.
- Facilitates interactive workshops, discussions, and classes
- Updates existing instructional courses and materials as needed
- Supports T&D work by engaging learners at the Market level
- Partners with T&D Manager in researching new technologies/programs to assist in continued improvement of content development and delivery
- Coordinates logistics for trainings, including communication, materials, and locations
- Partners with T&D Manager in administration of learning systems
- Provides excellent customer service by demonstrating an attitude of service to staff and guests
- Actively participates in continuing education necessary to perform critical job functions (primarily technology-based training and industry related professional development)
- Supports and follows all company, department, safety, security, and sustainability policies and programs
THIS JOB MIGHT BE FOR YOU IF . . .:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience using educational technology, authoring tools, and learning management systems to develop online content
- Knowledge of training & facilitation practices for engaging with large and small groups of employees
- Strong presentation skills: synchronous, asynchronous, in-person, virtual, and hybrid
- Experience applying instructional design and adult learning principles
- Ability to use a variety of assessment methods to evaluate development needs
- Experience managing end-to-end learning projects
- Knowledge of Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 and ability to apply knowledge in content development
- Ability to convey complex information and procedures in a way that is easily understood by learners of varying skill and education levels
- Must have intermediate computer skills including MS Office or higher
- Ability to edit video, audio, and graphics with an appreciation for visual impact and quality
- Must possess an attitude of service to others
- Must be accurate and detail-oriented
- Ability to work independently, with diverse guests, employees, and with leadership
- Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills
- Commitment to personal and professional development
- Ability to take direction and complete department tasks and assignments
- Demonstrates self-discipline and accountability through the display of an excellent work ethic

Entry Level Compensation: USD $69,000.00/Yr. Maximum Compensation: USD $85,000.00/Yr.
