    We are exclusively partnering with our client to seek an Instructional Designer and Facilitator tasked with crafting and delivering impactful, tailor-made training sessions for a Head Start Monitoring Contract. Working closely with the Training and Reliability Team and stakeholders, you will strive to enhance participants’ skills and professional development.

    Throughout the project, you will collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to evaluate organizational objectives and conduct thorough needs analyses. Crafting engaging training materials, incorporating adult learning principles, and staying abreast of industry trends will be key aspects. Leading live virtual sessions, you will adeptly simplify complex concepts, encourage participation, and manage group dynamics. Technical proficiency in virtual platforms and offering support are crucial. Moreover, you will assist in evaluating training effectiveness, adapt methods based on feedback, and maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all interactions.

    Each session will be 4 hours, tentatively scheduled from September 4th – September 6th and September 9th – September 18th. Participant sizes may vary, potentially reaching up to 150 attendees in some sessions.

    Start Date: Mid-June
    Duration: 3 months
    Location: Virtual

    Experience Required:

    • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Communication, Education, or a related field
    • Solid instructional design background, particularly in virtual training material creation
    • Skilled facilitator with the ability to simplify complex information
    • Needs analysis experience
    • Strong relationship-building skills
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Prior experience with the Office of Head Start of Administration for Children and Families is preferred but not mandatory.
    • The selected consultant may be subject to a background check.

    The pay range for this is $55.00 to $65.00 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
