The WorldGrad, a Singapore-based study abroad platform, has recently inaugurated its third Study Hub in Patiala, Punjab. This initiative is a part of the UniSmarter programme, which is offered in collaboration with international education provider Navitas. The programme aims to enable students to complete the first term of their foreign education programme while staying in India. According to an official statement, the two other study hubs are already functional in Mohali and Amritsar.
Co-founded by Abhinav Mital and Amit Garga, The WorldGrad offers programme with overseas universities that allow students to complete up to 1 year of their international degree from home and progress overseas for the rest of the program. The platform boasts an award-winning personalized support programme to maximize student success and satisfaction. Students can have 1-1 access to highly qualified and experienced tutors seven days a week to personalize learning and suit their study styles. It also provides a state-of-the-art Learning Management System (LMS) to streamline their study schedule.
The objective of the Study Hub is to furnish students with physical and digital resources to facilitate their class attendance. The statement further mentioned that the platform intends to widen its reach and establish additional centers in tier 2-3 cities in India per the academic requirements of the students.

The UniSmarter initiative is structured to allow students to commence their undergraduate studies remotely from home and later transition to in-person research on campus in Australia, the United Kingdom (UK), or the United Arab Emirates (UAE) starting from the second term. Study Hubs endorsed by UniSmarter will be excellent learning environments that will stimulate international education within the country.
