Moodle – the world’s most popular open source learning management system has been immensely customizable. In this post we will discuss how you can set up an automatic attendance of your students in your Moodle course.
The Auto Attendance plugin allows you to set up taking the attendance of students in your Moodle course. It allows different methods of taking attendance which includes Manual Attendance, Semi-Automatic & Automatic attendance.
You can download the Auto Attendance Block from the official Moodle plugins repository here. It comes with another companion plugin which is named as Auto Attendance Activity and allows you to add grades to attendance in the course. You can download it from this link.
In the Automatic Mode, the Auto Attendance block will mark students attendance when the student has access to the course. In the Semi-Automatic mode, the students needs to click on the Auto Attendance block link in the course.
