Moodle LMS has recently added the possibility to add external chat rooms in Moodle course to let students communicate easily with teachers. In this post we will see how you can add Telegram as your course communication tool.

In Moodle 4.3, a new feature is introduced to add external communication providers. As an Admin, you can easily setup your Matrix rooms or else you can offer external links like Telegram or WhatsApp.

Now let’s see how you can add a Telegram room in your Moodle course to let students communicate easily with the teachers. The configuration needs to be first setup as the admin and then the teachers can add their own preferred custom link in course.
