As a Moodle site administrator you might have experienced the pain of navigating for a specific page under the plethora of backend pages. Although all the pages are neatly segregated under different menu such as Users, Courses, Reports, Appearance etc but many times you might end up struggling finding up the right link.
The Commander Moodle plugin allows you to easily navigate to different admin pages easily through a command dialog. It is inspired by PhpStorm `Action` and oh-my-zsh.
After installing the commander plugin will list all navigation items in a searchable list. You can use the arrow keys on your keyboard for faster navigation.
The plugin is extremely helpful for the Moodle Admins who have to go through the web ui throughout the day to perform various admin tasks. You can download the Commander plugin from the official plugin repository here.
After installation, you can setup the key to show the commander popup from Site Admin > Plugins > Local Plugins >Commander. By default it comes with the Backquote key (above the TAB). You can press the key anywhere as the admin and it will show the commander popup.
