Moodle 4.3 QA Updates – 82% tests marked as Passed

Moodle 4.3 – the next major Moodle version is scheduled to be released on October 9, 2023. The next major Moodle version is currently undergoing QA testing as it will include many exciting new features. The Moodle community users are currently testing out the new features added in the Moodle LMS.

The Quality Assurance testing is carried out by actual real users before the release of any major version to verify the working of all new features. 100% of QA tests needs to be marked as Passed before the first release of any major Moodle version.

The current QA testing which started few days back on September 11, has already completed 82% of the tests as Passed. Out of the total 491 QA tests, 403 tests are marked as Passed.

If you are also a Moodle enthusiast, you can also contribute in Moodle QA testing which will also help you to earn the Moodle tester badge.

You can head to Moodle QA testing site and experiment, explore, and provide your valuable feedback. If you encounter any issues, whether major or minor, you need to report them to be fixed by Moodle developers. You can also refer to the QA testing guide before starting out.
