London-Based Experiential Learning Startup Yayem Raises $2M in Seed Round

-

Yayem, a London-based experiential learning platform aiming to cater to the needs of hybrid professionals and teams seeking immersive learning experiences, has secured $2 million in a seed round to help global power expansion.

With a growing membership base in prominent global cities like London, Lisbon, Mexico City, Cape Town, and New York City, Yayem is reshaping the work and leisure dynamics for educated urbanites in this “hybrid” world. Its impact redefines how millions of individuals approach their professional and personal lives, blurring the boundaries between work and play.

Co-founded by Lindsey Elkin and Nicolas Buteau, Yayem’s newly launched mobile app introduces a digital product as a passport to physical spaces, diverse learning opportunities, and a global network of professionals and digital nomads. Its goal is to provide users with a sense of boundlessness and familiarity, transcending geographical boundaries. The platform has an AI-powered concierge that acts as a matchmaker (of the non-romantic kind!) within the community.

Commenting on the investment, Co-founder & CEO of Yayem, Nicolas Buteau, said:

We couldn’t be more excited to launch during Pride Month, with Yayem celebrations happening worldwide. Just this past Tuesday, we took members on a private tour of Queer Britain – with London and visiting members joining us to learn, engage and connect. As a gay, black CEO, it was important to build Yayem with strong principles of diversity and inclusion — we are proud of the variety of our initial founding member base and plan to keep growing with these principles top of mind.

With its mission to redefine how professionals and teams connect and learn, Yayem aims to empower millions of individuals in the hybrid world, transforming work and play into a seamless and enriching experience.
