HR Education and Training Development is seeking a skilled Wealth Management Learning Experience Designer with the ability to leverage Agile and Design Thinking learning approaches and processes to solve complex business problems with best-in-class learning solutions that drive meaningful growth with measurable outcomes. This role plays a critical part in Citizens’ people development strategy and deepening customer relationship within Citizens Wealth Management. The ideal candidate will have Wealth Management and Financial Advisory experience, a solid understanding of how people learn, and the creative, technical and innovative talent to help reimage learning to be more active engaging and customer centric.

Role: A key player in the design and development of learning experiences for our Wealth Management business supporting financial planning, financial advice, banking, regulatory and technical learning efforts. Must have:

  • Strong knowledge and experience with in the Wealth Management, Broker Dealer, and Financial Planning space, financial business acumen, excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Technical savvy to pull knowledge together to build an engaging and innovative learning experience, from blended programs with self-paced and virtual deliver, to small & large group in-person sessions.
  • The ability to move from editing a video for a hybrid course to designing a uniform visual look for a suite of learning experiences.
  • Ability to work with learners, key business partners, leaders and stakeholders on a regular basis to translate business needs into learning experiences that shift mindsets and create sustained behavior change.
  • A keen eye for design and aesthetics
  • Know and understand adult learners
  • Ability and initiative to understand critical business needs, analyze issues and collaborate cross-functionally to develop scalable learning solutions that move the needle for the business.
  • Self-driven work ethic with a high degree of ownership.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and improve current business line resources.
  • Update, curate and maintain resources.
  • Design and develop creative, customer-centered, performance-based training materials in multiple modalities including:
    • Podcast
    • Graphics
    • Animations
    • Micro-learning development
    • Mobile-ready learning content
    • Gamification
    • Integration of learning into the flow of work -performance support
    • On-demand learning
    • Video production: development and editing
    • Interactive eLearning modules
    • Interactive job aids
    • Virtual long distance learning development
  • Facilitate and deliver content developed on occasion.
  • Develop and maintain a content maintenance process.
  • Respond to training intake requests by designing and developing effective, engaging, and scalable solutions.
  • Contribute to the improvement of processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with HR Training and Development team members, including Instructional Design Center of Excellence, Wealth Management subject matter experts (SMEs), and Management to define learning objectives.
  • Effectively manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of adult learning theories and learning experience design best practices, Design Thinking and Agile development process with demonstrated experience applying this knowledge.
  • Advanced experience in colleague-focused design and learning technologies such as Articulate Studio/Storyline, Camtasia, Vyond and Adobe Creative Cloud.
  • Ability to quickly learn and integrate new technologies.
  • Advanced experience in multi-media development of image, video, and audio to create graphics, animations and other visual assets.
  • Advanced experience designing for blended and virtual learning experiences.
  • Experience collaborating with variety of stakeholders such as SMEs, managers, and colleagues.
  • BA/BS in a related field with Adult Education.
  • Advanced knowledge of eLearning technical standards (SCORM, AICC, xAPI).

Education:

Bachelors or higher degree in a relevant field 7+ years’ experience in instructional design and developing learning solutions in multiple modalities.
