We are currently looking for a VP Learning and Development. In this role you’ll oversee and coordinates instructional, learning engagement, curriculum and resource development, and assessment activities of the Learning and Development department. You will evaluate overall effectiveness of performance through application of individual, classroom, and eLearning training techniques and programs, consistent with the Credit Union’s organizational priorities and in support of EVOLVE (Excellence, Volunteerism, Openness, Loyalty, Vulnerability, Empathy) values. You’ll be responsible for the oversight and development of the Learning and Development and Curriculum and Content Directors, and respective staff.
To thrive in this role, you should have three to five years of similar or related commercial lending and management experience and a Bachelors Degree in Organizational Learning, Business Administration or related field. This position is equal parts communication, and problem solving. This might be the role for you if you enjoy working in a role working with others, motivating and influencing others, diplomacy and development.
Key skills and experience:

Knowledge of adult learning principles/theories and their integration with facilitation and curriculum development.

Experienced in instructional design, program development and administration, eLearning technology application, and retention metrics.

Exceptionally skilled in facilitation.

Must be able to handle multiple responsibilities, meet deadlines, deal with sensitive information and handle problem resolution.

Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills with the ability to work with multiple levels of the organization.

Strong performance management and leadership skills to provide advisory services to external departments and manage direct reporting staff effectively.

Development, performance management, training, and employee counseling skills essential.

Must have in-depth understanding of and ability to manage multiple business units and generate both immediate and long-term results.

Experienced in MS Office programs to include Excel, Word, Outlook, 365 and all internal systems as affiliated with the department.
