This hybrid role can be located in Santa Clara, CA (Headquarters), Plano, TX, Reston, VA, or NYC.
Your Career
Join our team as a Technical Content Developer focusing on crafting training materials for our valued partners. With a solid technical foundation, you’ll excel both independently and collaboratively, working alongside content developers and subject matter experts to design enriching learning experiences.
In this role, you will drive the creation and delivery of training resources tailored for our partners, enabling them to proficiently implement, support, and advocate for Palo Alto Networks’ cybersecurity solutions.
Your Impact
- Shape, develop, and curate training content and curricula for Partners on Palo Alto Networks’ products
- Transform intricate concepts into accessible learning solutions using technical expertise
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure accuracy and alignment of training content with the latest product advancements
- Continuously test, troubleshoot, and update training materials, demos, labs, and assessments
- Reinforce product knowledge through inclusive learning modes tailored to GSI, SI, and MSSPs
- Identify and optimize tools and platforms for seamless delivery and accessibility of training content
- Gather and incorporate feedback to refine training materials
- Adapt quickly to innovations and revise content accordingly
- Acquire and implement diverse networking, network security, and cloud technologies
- Collaborate with the digital learning team to create impactful online content
- Stay current on the cyber threat landscape and related technologies
Your Experience
- Experience collaborating with channel partners and implementing a channel-focused go-to-market strategy
- A minimum of three years of experience in developing a technical curriculum
- Proven track record in designing curriculum, including comprehensive course planning, and the ability to seamlessly develop instructional content and assessments that align with various learning objectives
- Demonstrable examples showcasing your eLearning course development skills
- Experience creating and managing production training labs, developing interactive eLearning and video modules
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Instructional Design, a related field, or equivalent military experience is required
Proficient in at least the following technical areas:
- Networking
- Network security
- Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW)
- Cloud Access Security Broker (CASB)
- Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) solutions
- Software-Defined Wide Area Network (SD-WAN)
- Autonomous Digital Experience Management
Proficiency in tools such as:
- Articulate
- Evolve
- Captivate
- Camtasia
- Adobe Suite
- Google Suite

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $109600 – $177200/yr.
