    Job Description:

    Responsible for providing support in the development of eLearning or instructor-led training courses based upon technical documentation for technical and non-technical audiences. Develop training curricula based upon input from and the needs of the business. Measure the success and efficiency of the training. Evaluate and maintain current training curriculum and update as required. Coordinate training and learning best practices as needed. Provide feedback on training instructional design, coordination, delivery, and materials production.

    • Apply expertise in training analysis, design, development, implementation, delivery, and evaluation to classroom, field, and distance learning
    • Interact with subject matter experts to design and develop technical training lessons and courseware, including job aids, tests, and other training support materials
    • Guide the use of performance-based training methods where applicable
    • Collaborate with SME and other training personnel regarding training-related matters, including determination of training needs, training target audiences, training goals and objectives, and development timelines
    • Negotiate with stakeholders to create and meet recommended project timelines
    • Build relationships with customers; maintain frequent contact to provide updates on equipment, training, and related matters
    • Evaluate existing training for effectiveness, recommend and implement improvements; assess effectiveness of improvements
    • Utilize current, cost-effective, value-added training methodologies
    • Contribute to instances of bid proposal, project management, and new business development Conduct activities in a safe manner and work in accordance with company policies Perform other duties as required

    MUST HAVE

    • Minimum of three years’ experience in the design and development of classroom training, and/or technical/field training
    • Proven expertise in current training methodology and adult learning theory
    • Demonstrated presentation and interpersonal communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to work independently under a compressed time frame
    • Demonstrated ability to work in the office and in the field
    • Minimum of two years’ experience using MS Office, particularly PowerPoint, Word, Excel
    • US citizenship (capable of obtaining and maintaining a government security clearance) Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent. Some experience in the field.

    • Experience with Learning Management Systems
    • Ability to adapt to evolving products and technology
    • Experience as a trainer/educator for technical products
    • Excellent team and communication skills
    • An ability to take initiative and work with limited direction
    • An ability to influence at the operational level
    • Experience with LMS Learning Management Systems
    • Previous teaching in a Military or Federal Environment
