As a Technical Content Developer & Trainer you will be responsible for the design, creation, deployment, and delivery of training material supporting the technical and functional skill development of the Warehousing and Distribution organization. In this position, you will work with subject matter experts throughout all areas of the Warehouse & Distribution business unit to create and deliver high-quality programs including topics such as Operational Excellence, Information Systems and Technology Upskilling.

Key responsibilities

  • Partner with subject matter experts to design and develop interactive, clear, and error-free learning content.
  • Use appropriate methodologies, tools, and available platforms to create scalable and effective learning content such as standard guides, web-based training, presentations, gamified lessons, and interactive videos.
  • Deliver learning experiences to a large audience through various modes: live remote sessions, live in-person workshops, recorded instructional videos, and self-paced delivery tools.
  • Work with the Learning and Development team to scale education programs for new and existing employees.
  • Use appropriate methodologies to create learning content with varying levels of technical depth.
  • Use an LMS to publish eLearning courses, and to track completion and effectiveness.
  • Collect and analyze data to evaluate learning program success.
  • Ensure excellent communication, teamwork, and alignment with key stakeholders, developing curriculum and acting as a trusted partner.

We are looking for

  • 5+ years of experience delivering technical training content in one or more of the following domain areas: Logistics, Warehousing, and Distribution systems, Supply-Chain, Lean Six Sigma, and Operational Excellence.
  • Work or educational experience with technical and/or training concepts
  • Ability to provide an eLearning portfolio or demonstrate the creation of high-quality eLearning products
  • Experience with design tools used in a learning creation environment.
  • Experience working with global external vendors in the L&D space.
  • Excellent communicator who is confident and comfortable speaking in front of large audiences.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, building relationships and influencing others to execute and prioritize.
  • Ability to perform extensive research about a subject and create educational content.
  • Ability to travel to sites nationwide to conduct training sessions.
