We are looking for a customer-obsessed Sr. Learning Experience Designer who will be responsible for the team that oversees training delivery, instructional development and knowledge assets. Your work will creatively using instructional design, learning methods, videography, and appropriate technologies to enhance learning and engage learners through blended learning solutions.
You are comfortable multi-tasking in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You understand adult learning in addition to being a creative and analytical problem solver with a passion for excellent customer service. - Assess, develop and implement innovative networked learning solutions that assist the business to meet strategic initiatives and future growth
- Be very hands-on; work directly with development teams and stakeholders to produce extraordinary training content and agile eLearning solutions
- Determine the proper blend of learning solution that reinforces hands-on application of the tools, enhances the learning transfer, and engages learners
- Develop first-hand experience with the appropriate subject matter (systems or products)
- Conduct technical and editorial reviews of training content
- Utilize project management skills to define and meet project milestones, communicate issues and risks in a timely manner, and manage customer expectations
- Manage projects and processes in an entrepreneurial environment requiring strong multi-tasking abilities
- Have the ability to work as both an individual contributor and a people leader

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of experience in program or project management
- Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- BA or BS degree in a relevant field such as instructional technology, educational technology, organizational development
- At least 5 years’ experience in an instructional design role.
- At least 3 years’ experience as a people leader
- Demonstrated experience developing courseware to current Industry and adult learning standards, performance support aids, online tutorials and/or other training materials, including gaming modules
- Expertise in development with eLearning tools such as Captivate, Articulate Studio/Storyline, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Flash and Software technology like HTML, Javascript for learning portal design
- Experience working with Learning Management Systems like Moodle, Cornerstone (Amazon’s current system)
- Multi-media development skills in audio, video, and/or animation
- Solid project management skills including planning work, managing details, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, using time well, and doing whatever it takes to deliver reliable results
- Acute attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment
- Proven experience designing and delivering customer-facing content under aggressive timelines
- Can conceptualize technical/functional content into something creative that people actually enjoy consuming
- Adaptable – ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities and thrive in a complex, ambiguous environment
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and focus on quality
- Ability to take initiative, be proactive without waiting for direction
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
· Demonstrated ability to anticipate and manage change in a highly dynamic environment
· Demonstrated ability to work with Director level stakeholders
· 3 years of experience in a physical retail operations environment
