Sr. Instructional Designer Remote Job

The internal L&D team of our large and esteemed medical network client is creating, refining, and redesigning training for core areas of employee skills building including: Orientation, Development, Engagement, and Performance. They are seeking the assistance of a skilled Instructional Designer/eLearning Development Consultant with strong fundamental instructional systems design (ISD) expertise and advanced knowledge of best practices, employee engagement, and current trends in the creation of visually appealing and effective learning.

This consultant will assist the internal team in the creation of Instructor-led Training (ILT), interactive eLearning (Articulate 360), and associated digital learning materials (PowerPoint slides, learning catalogs, Job Aids, etc.). The qualified consultant will be an expert at creating modern and visually appealing training and must be able to share a portfolio of such materials for presentation to the client along with a resume.

Skills & Experience Requirements:

• 10+ years’ experience in Instructional Design and eLearning Development and strong knowledge of adult learning principles, best practices, and current trends for engaging and effective learning.
• Experience in the design and hands on development of interactive eLearning, including multimedia, using Articulate Storyline and Rise, Adobe Creative Suite, and video and audio editing tools (must provide your own laptop, and license).
• Skilled in visual design and the creation of sharp ILT content and associated materials.
• Able to create and/or refine learning content as requested.
• Must be able to share an excellent sample portfolio along with your resume.
• Highly collaborative and excellent at working with internal L&D leaders and teams.
• Must be sharp, articulate, and able to offer ideas and recommendations driven by industry best practices and current trends.
• Must be dedicated and deadline driven with a natural drive to create excellent work product.
• Open to providing a high-level estimate of hours to complete specific projects or actions discussed during the interview, if requested.

The pay range is $65 to $80 per hour. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
