As Senior Administrator-Instructional Design you will be accountable for creating and maintaining a variety of training and development assets and programs that inspire learners and drive business growth and improvements. The position is also responsible for the design and development of training content, to be delivered in a variety of formats such as instructor-led classes (on-site and virtual), eLearning, self-serve toolkits, and videos.
The position works across the organization with other Talent Development staff, HR Business Partners, business unit project sponsors, subject matter experts, IT technical staff, and outside vendors through all phases of a project, from assessment through implementation and evaluation.
The pay range listed for this position represents the low and high end of the base compensation range. The actual offer amount will carefully consider multiple factors, such as relevant skills, qualifications, work experience, location and/or competencies that align with the specified role. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and equity awards.

Responsibilities:
Instructional Design and Development
- Build and maintain partnerships with business unit contacts and subject matter experts (SMEs).
- Write learning objectives and work with SMEs to draft content outlines.
- Design and develop training, simulations, and assessment activities. Design may include prototyping, storyboards and/or scripting.
- Perform testing and quality assurance on all deliverables.
- Partner with facilitation specialists and business unit contacts to transition materials and programs for delivery.
- Create evaluation plans to measure learner satisfaction, skill attainment, and learning transfer.
- Design or revamp role-specific training curriculums, including performing task analysis.
- Serve as end-to-end project manager for assigned projects, from kickoff to close. Plan project tasks and time estimates.
Performance Consulting
- Consult, build, and maintain collaborative partnerships with business unit leaders and HR Business Partners to identify business needs and relevant solutions that increase overall effectiveness.
- Conduct needs assessments and recommend appropriate learning solutions.
- If training is required, determine the most effective training solution, both in terms of cost and of meeting key business objectives.
Continuous Improvement
- Lead or contribute to the development of instructional design and project management processes and tools.
- Recommend and implement new design and development processes, tools, and approaches based on continuous advancements in the learning marketplace and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree (or higher) -OR- 4+ years professional work experience.
- 3+ years’ experience designing and developing training and blended learning programs.
- 3+ years’ experience leading instructional design and development projects within a corporate environment, across multiple teams or groups.
- 3+ years’ experience with training needs assessment and/or performance consulting, with proven skill to select the most appropriate learning solutions based on learner need.
Other Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to communicate difficult concepts and processes using clear and simple language and visuals.
- Proven ability to produce quality results using rapid development models and tools.
- Demonstrated proficiency with capture, authoring, and editing tools such as Articulate Storyline, Camtasia and Adobe Creative Cloud apps.
- Demonstrated experience performing task analysis
- Demonstrated experience creating focused curriculums/training plans.
- Excellent writing and editing skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks to meet key due dates
- Ability to work well with minimal supervision.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite and Office 365 applications.

Associates scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week have access to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off benefits such as vacation (15 days accrued per year for full-time; pro-rated for part-time associates working between 20-39 hours), sick leave (10 days accrued per year for full-time and pro-rated for all other associates), seven paid national holidays and one floating holiday, paid parental leave (2 weeks after 12 months of employment), among others. Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability coverage is also available for associates working 30 or more hours per week and Education Assistance is available to full-time associates. Associates scheduled to work under twenty hours per week or for a limited term (i.e. interns) are eligible for medical coverage, the 401(k) plan (if 18 or older), as well as sick leave (10 days accrued per year for full-time and pro-rated for all other associates). Pay Range: $63,100.00 – $102,600.00
