Job Summary
Training systems and Design Specialist, Sr. will serve as a primary administrator of all training solutions deployed via LMS. This position will administer, monitor, and provide logistical/troubleshooting support related to LMS.
Job Duties
Models’ ethical behavior and executives job responsibilities in accordance with Citizen’s core values, ethics, and information protection policies.
Manage and serve as a primary administrator of all training courses deployed in the LMS, manage user assignments, monitor learner completions, test validity of all training materials prior to deployment, enter all training and certification rosters and record into LMS as needed.
Monitor system performance proactively; collaborate with HRIM to resolve technical issues, respond to end-user questions, and troubleshoot short-term issues and provide long-term solutions/recommendations. Collects feedback on sessions from attendees to use for future improvements to content and presentation.
Collect and analyze program data and participate in evaluating training courses and program effectiveness; provide monthly/quarterly/annual scorecards for divisional and enterprise training programs. Provides executive summary and monitors the effectiveness of training on employees using individual or group performance results. Generate and maintain all ad hoc and scheduled reports.
Develop and maintain learning management system curriculum database and training records; ensure that all learner data and information in the LMS meets regulatory requirements and good documentation practices and is stored in a manner that can be retrieved quickly and efficiently when needed during daily operations.
Lead the collaboration with IT in managing and coordinating four (4) Guidewire training environments for internal and external users which include employees, agents, and independent adjusters to ensure backup/refresh/update before and after training sessions and with regular maintenance releases.
Design and develop eLearning, classroom virtual and/or webinar training materials to effectively deliver Citizen’s service. May also facilitate delivery of training programs.
Knowledge Required:
Communicate in a highly effective manner using visual, oral, and written forms, while possessing strong interpersonal and customer service mindset.
High level of problem-solving techniques
Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite primarily Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Advanced knowledge in the systematic troubleshooting of eLearning programs, authoring tools and LMS technical issues.
Have the technical ability to design and develop multimedia eLearning and instructor led courses using sound instructional design methodologies.
Good working knowledge of SCORM and ASCI compliance requirements.
Skills & Abilities Required:
Advanced abilities to troubleshoot technical issues related to primarily LMS system.
Ability to communicate effectively and with all levels of management and employees.
Self-starter, self-motivator, and detail oriented.
Travel approximately 10% of the time, as necessary.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, able to set priorities, and has excellent project management skills.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Education:
Property and casualty insurance experience.
Experience Required:
5 or more years of experience in LMS administration, design, managing and troubleshooting course management.
Education:
High School Diploma | GED Required
Bachelor’s Degree OR 4 years relevant experience, OR a combination of college education and relevant experience equivalent to 4 years – Required
What percentage of time is accountable for short-term operational goals? 40%
What percentage of time is accountable for transactional, day to day operational support? 60%
