Forge your path on our Learning and Organization Effectiveness Team! We are excited to add a Senior Learning & Development Consultant. This role within our Human Resources business will be responsible for designing, developing, and facilitating training programs to improve employee performance and ensure organizational productivity. This role collaborates across the organization to identify training solutions and delivery methods to achieve individual business unit and organizational goals. This will be a hybrid role focused on instructional design/eLearning development and facilitation (virtual and onsite at our Minneapolis HQ).

Day to day:
Essential Responsibilities / Duties
  • Partner with HRBP and business unit leaders to understand their business needs for increased people effectiveness and translate them into effective, practical, and timely learning and organization development solutions
  • Use consultative and strategic questioning to analyze the needs and performance gaps of stakeholders
  • Develop and deploy learning and development projects from needs assessment through the implementation of practical solutions, including managing internal or external third parties/resources to deliver the work
  • Design and deliver training for classroom and online learning environments
  • Establish program metrics to measure program effectiveness
  • Oversee and manage projects of large and/or complex enterprise-wide initiatives such as leadership development programs, engagement survey, or similar projects
  • Prepare frequent communication for the organization regarding programs and content
  • Serve as facilitator for company-wide learning and development programs or meetings
  • Serve as internal coach for high potential organization leaders
  • Maximize effectiveness by researching training methodologies, learning tools, organization development and other best practices research
Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, organizational development, instructional design or closely related field and a minimum of 8 years of learning and development experience; or a Master’s degree with 6 years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Sound understanding and demonstrated application of adult learning principles, instructional design and organization effectiveness practices and tools
  • Demonstrated business acumen and knowledge of human resources management trends and practices
  • Ability to think strategically and bring a long-term perspective to issues, using sound business judgment
  • Must be able to “connect the dots” between processes to achieve overall objectives
  • Can visualize, influence, communicate and implement learning and organization development solutions that will support business goal achievement
  • Strong project management, coaching and consulting skills
  • Demonstrated competency in group facilitation, coaching, team building, conflict management and problem solving
