    This job contributes to REI’s success by providing learning and talent development solutions in support of REI’s business strategies. Responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing simple to complex solutions over varying modalities. Solutions will serve to engage and build the capabilities of REI’s workforce.

    Your Planning & Navigating Requirements
    • Learns and understands REI’s and Talent Management’s strategic initiatives and partners with team members to determine needs and ensure solutions are in alignment.
    • Applies principles of adult learning and customer focus to determine the appropriate approach and modality for learning delivery.
    • Researches and analyzes best practices and emerging trends to recommend culturally relevant approaches.
    • Leads the full cycle of L&D project and program management (including needs analysis, design, content development, delivery/implementation, stakeholder management, and evaluation).
    • Analyzes organizational readiness to optimize user adoption. Thoroughly assesses impact of change to ensure flawless execution.
    • Partners with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and other employees to determine needs, design solutions, and make recommendations that align with and enable REI’s business needs and goals
    • Implements and conducts analysis to measure the effectiveness of solutions and tracks success to determine broader implications and make appropriate adjustments or improvements.
    • Uses expert facilitation skills to deliver credible and meaningful learning experiences.
    • Provides oversight and direction to project team members.
    • Manages resources through tools and technology, such as SharePoint or learning management system (LMS).
    • Manages vendors to support design, development, or delivery of content (as needed)
    Bring your passion and expertise
    • 4-year degree in Talent Management, Instructional Design, Leadership Development or related field or equivalent work experience.
    • 4+ years’ experience conducting end-to-end design and delivery of blended learning programs/solutions.
    • 2+ years’ experience designing and facilitating leadership and/or soft skill building solutions for broad audiences from front line employees to executives.
    • 2+ years’ experience designing and developing complex eLearning solutions. Proficiency with Articulate 360 eLearning suite.
    • Experience with stakeholder management; demonstrated ability to communicate, influence, and present data for varying audiences.
    • Project management skills including ability to create project plans and timelines, manage multiple programs simultaneously and complete assignments in a timely manner.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office o365 applications and Windows.
    • Experience with learning management system (LMS) administration.
    As required by applicable Pay Transparency laws, REI provides a range of compensation for roles that may be hired in locations under these requirements. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include a wide array of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic location or other relevant factors.
    The pay for this role is: $83700 – $134000 per year.
