    As an Instructional Designer / eLearning Developer, you would perform the following tasks:

    • Organize and write a variety of training documentation and/or research materials and complete a variety of tasks.
    • Create, manage, and deliver engaging training across multiple mediums and multiple learning styles
    • Design, develop, and/or re-design, content for e-learning, web-based and/or instructor-led classes.
    • Work with subject matter experts to research, write and edit training.
    • Master content from existing sources well enough to communicate it.
    • Create instructional supporting material/media (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.).
    • Develop learning deliverables in various engaging formats (audio, video, simulations, role plays, games etc.).
    • Manage work to allocated effort and schedule.
    • Demonstrate superior oral and written communication skills.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Minimum Requirements:

    • 2-8 years of experience in Instructional Design.
    • Prior experience working with subject matter experts (SMEs) on projects.
    • Prior experience in consulting-based instructional design or eLearning development a plus.
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and Articulate 360 Storyline required.
    • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Captivate, Lectora, Camtasia, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, Visio, RoboHelp, other Articulate 360 tools, Dreamweaver, SnagIt, and/or other eLearning programs is a plus.
    • Ability to write effectively and communicate complex ideas in an easy-to-understand manner.
    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.

    The Ideal Candidate:

    The ideal candidate has prior experience working as an instructional designer / eLearning developer in a consulting-based company, or in a role where they consulted SMEs to build project. They are highly proficient in Articulate Storyline. They have a degree (although concentration is not critical) and can use the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) well. This individual is adept at learning new software programs and is a solid writer. They may also have experience in other authoring and editing software, including the Adobe Suite and other programs used to develop eLearning. Finally, this person is looking for a place where they can work on a variety of projects for different clients.
