Welcome to the Product Studio – the creative engine behind Advisory Board’s expert presentations, workshops, and eLearning products. As part of the Product Studio team, you will contribute to scaling the value of Advisory Board research by effectively translating our industry-leading health care insights into new and evolving products. Ultimately, the products you help build will enable Advisory Board to broaden and deepen our reach with clients and enhance our impact across the health care industry.
As a Content Specialist, you will be responsible for designing and developing new presentations, workshops, and eLearning courses that draw directly from Advisory Board research and insights – while collaborating with a dynamic, cross-functional group of internal stakeholders.
You’ll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute from anywhere within the U.S., while having the option to work out of our Washington, D.C. office.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Create a variety of written, graphic, and multimedia deliverables for our products, ranging from polished PowerPoint presentations, facilitation guides, and scripts to video production-ready storyboards and eLearning courses (in collaboration with internal partners)
- Interview internal stakeholders/subject matter experts (SMEs) and conduct secondary research to obtain information and inputs required for product development
- Synthesize disparate sources of information, distilling complex subject matter into easily understandable concepts and compelling narratives for a variety of audiences
- Work with creative partners to curate visuals and design elements that will be used in the end-products
- Learn and apply principles of user experience, instructional design, visual design, and learning theory to ensure quality and integrity of the end-products (with guidance from subject matter experts)
- Balance multiple assignments of various sizes and topics simultaneously, effectively managing time and priorities

Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2+ years of relevant experience
- Outstanding written and oral communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines
- Experience with at least one of the following:
- Background in content or copywriting is preferred
- Writing in-depth reports in an academic or professional setting
- Demonstrated interest/experience in health care
- Learner experience and/or instructional design

Preferred Qualifications:
- MBA, MPH, or other advanced degree (e.g. writing, communication, instructional design)

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
