We are looking for an experienced, innovative, strategic instructional designer to join our team. The Instructional Designer will work with the Product Management team and/or Subject Matter Expert to create online learning modules and web-based training sessions, instructor-led training guides, and supporting materials following an instructional design process and adult learning principles. The Instructional Designer will use strong interpersonal, written, and visual communication skills to bring together text, images, video, and audio to communicate and educate our clients and employees.
The Instructional Designer may also administer tests and performance checks, provide 1:1 coaching, coordinate with business partners, and report results, and issues as needed.
What are the requirements needed for this position?
- 5+ years technical training, Instructional Design, field sales, product support, and/or consulting experience
- 2+ years of experience in curriculum and instructional design (eLearning, training manuals, Job Aids)
What critical skills are needed for you to consider someone for this position?
- Experience working in a learning management system, ideally Oracle
- Ability to develop instructional materials for multiple delivery methodologies
- Experience applying systematic approach to problem solving and enterprise learning initiatives
- Demonstrated experience with industry tools such as Articulate, Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop
- Experience working with audio-visual files, equipment, and related software
- Intermediate knowledge of standard office applications (Windows 10, Microsoft)
What other skills/experience would be helpful to have?
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Instructional Systems Design, Adult Education or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
- Experience teaching or training
- Healthcare background preferred, but not required – Hospital, Patient Access, Billing Office, etc.
- Experience with Change Healthcare products and services preferred, but not required

How much should I expect to travel?
- 25% travel requirement

The applicable base pay for your state is listed below. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Change Healthcare offers benefits such as a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The base pay range for this position is $69,480.00 – $172,080.00
