Cash App is looking for a Learning and Development Program Specialist to join the Cash Customer Operations team. Our Learning and Development team exists to provide our advocates with the knowledge and skills required to be successful in their role, as well as providing opportunities for further career growth and development. Focus areas include new hire training, continuing education, professional development and on the job performance support.
An ideal candidate for the Program Specialist role will have experience in designing and implementing programmatic learning experiences for teams, departments and/or organizations. Global experience is a plus. Candidates should be able to apply critical thinking and strategy to the learning and development process and have a demonstrated ability to pivot quickly when program changes are needed. An eye for detail and the ability to see the big picture are essential elements of this role. As with any support role, a desire to help others be successful is instrumental. Data analytics experience is helpful.
- Ensure program materials i.e. documents, slide decks, elearning modules, job aids, etc. are cohesive to the program, differentiated from other programs, and kept updated.
- Work cross functionally to ensure stakeholders are brought in at the right time to ensure approval and endorsement i.e. WFM, Leadership, etc.
- Manage logistics for program execution including scheduling, managing facilitators, guest speakers, SMEs, etc.
- Manage data collection and reporting for assigned program(s).
- Be a ‘go-to’ person for program specifics, questions, changes, needs, etc.
- Define and execute cadence for content auditing, reporting and tracking.
- Develop, execute and own the process for collecting participant (learner) feedback, tracking, reporting and acting upon feedback as needed.
- Coordinate a team of L & D specialists in the identification and development of new programming.
- 1-2 years of experience in a Learning and Development or Project-based role in a fast-paced setting.
- A basic understanding of and experience with virtual and classroom-based facilitation techniques and coaching methodologies, and adult learning concepts.
- Exceptional critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze and tell a story with both qualitative and quantitative datasets.
- Proven ability to hold oneself accountable to business goals and objectives
- Basic experience presenting to groups and individuals at all levels of the organization.
- Track record of success working both independently and collaboratively.
- An ability to shift on the fly, work within a highly ambiguous environment and perform at a high level with minimal direction.
- Strong public speaking and written communication skills.
- Ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with eLearning development tools and educational technology/platforms.
- Familiarity with Learning Management System (LMS) functions and capabilities
- Project/Program Management experience.
- Expertise in Adult Learning and/or Instructional Design
- Change Management certification or experience leading a peer team through change.
- Experience working with program lifecycle management
