    Under limited supervision, the LMS (Learning Management System) administrator will play a critical role in ensuring the successful implementation and operation of our organization’s online learning programs and systems.

    ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Acts as primary point of contact for LMS administrative tasks such as:
    • Setup user and administrator accounts and maintain appropriate access.
    • Manage Learner profiles within the LMS.
    • Troubleshoot system administrative issues and tasks.
    • Add or edit courses and events within the system.
    • Create, test, and troubleshoot learning content.
    • Set-up learning assignments, course deployments, and recurrences.
    • Generate system reports and run both standard and ad hoc reports.
    • Works with stakeholders to standardize, document, streamline and coordinate learning processes and best practices.
    • Evaluates stakeholder requests and determine the appropriate level of support.
    • Provides customer support for learning and LMS needs.
    • Tracks all on-the-job training enterprise-wide.
    • Serves as central point of contact and as a liaison application vendors regarding installations, server maintenance, licensing and upgrade issues.
    • Develops and compiles reports of assigned learning modules for compliance reporting.
    • Trains other stakeholders on key system functionality, administrative tasks, and processes.
    • Conducts regular LMS audits to track and measure learning across the organization.
    • Communicates to team and stakeholders on system updates and course offerings.
    • Manages the implementation of training curricula and assignment to learner roles.
    • Participates in the implementation and upgrades of the system.
    • Effectively manages communication between end users, vendors, and IT to solve problems quickly.
    • Assists in digital content creation and implementation.
    • Identifies and evaluates ways to automate, streamline and improve learning practices.
    • Troubleshoots learning management system problems, identify issues and recommend solutions.
    • Ability to travel 15% of the time.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    QUALIFICATIONS
    Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge, skills and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to qualify is:

    • Minimum of three years of related experience with working knowledge of practices, techniques, and standards within the training discipline.
    • Two or more years of experience managing a Learning Management System.
    • Highschool diploma or GED required.
    • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Proficient in eLearning software and content authoring tools (i.e., Articulate, Camtasia, Litmos).
    • Experience with database management and reporting functionality.
    • Strong project management and organizational skills.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
    • Exceptionally detail oriented.
    • Analytical Skills.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment with ability to provide solutions to problems occurring infrequently.
    • Creative problem solver and collaborator.
    • Proactively mitigates potential challenges or issues.
    • Familiar with AICC and SCORM protocols.
    • Experience with video authoring tools a plus (i.e., Articulate, Camtasia, Storyline, etc.).
