The Learning Experience Manager (LEM) will be responsible for delivering industry-leading learning solutions using our learning management system (Top Class), our association management system (Protech), and other technology tools. The primary focus of this role will be the implementation of InsurAcademy – Stage 3, which provides new hires in the insurance industry with a skills-based learning experience and customize, monitor and improve the learning experience.

Salary Range: $60000.00 – $80000.00 per year

Responsibilities

  • Leverage the best practices of eLearning to deliver a variety of learning solutions including effective technology usage, microlearning, and gamification to enhance learning and improve student performance.
  • Coordinate with internal staff, instructors, and third-party learning partners to automate our InsurAcademy new hire training curriculum in our Learning Management System (Top Class) to optimize student learning and provide a good agency experience that supports their training needs.
  • Complete training to become the Certified Top Class Administrator of our learning management system.
  • Utilize Top Class functionality to design and create a customizable Agency Branded Learning Center template for InsurAcademy new hire participating agencies that follows best practices for employee engagement and adult learning.
  • Maintain educational content in Top Class for InsurAcademy and and enhance integrations with Protech for application process, data collections, and reporting.
  • Establish a process to onboard agencies and new hires into InsurAcademy.

Requirements

  • REQUIRED: A detail-oriented team player with three (3) years of related insurance industry work experience, preferably working in an independent insurance agency.
  • Five (5) years experience in career and professional development, preferably with training and coaching insurance account executives, customer service representatives, or producers.
  • Personal qualities of integrity, initiative, innovation, collaboration, professionalism, responsiveness, and a commitment to IIANCs mission.
  • Experience with developing, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating the technical aspects of educational programs and products, including formal learning courses, webinars, blended learning experiences, asynchronous online learning modules, synchronous learning, or other training.
  • Technical capabilities – necessary to operate learning technologies in learning management systems, knowledge of system roles and ability to assign permissions as needed, ability to set up new courses, audio files, video files, and manage users and reports in learning and video conferencing platforms.
