    Learning Experience Designer

    Rexford Industrial is looking for a Learning Experience Designer with a corporate instructional design background who will bring a passion for creating engaging and compelling corporate education content to the organization. This person will have the capability to develop web-based training for end-users and other on-line learning materials in partnership with the Professional Excellence Team, HR and various other stakeholders throughout the business.

    Our ideal candidate is creative, analytical and has exceptional verbal and written communication skills. The successful Learning Experience Designer will be able to assess and document learning objectives pertinent to end users and other stakeholders, and work with the Professional Excellence team to deliver effective and engaging training content.     Responsibilities

    • Collaborates with the Professional Excellence team to analyze knowledge and skill gaps of all departments within the organization.
    • Collaborates with subject matter experts, stakeholders, and C-Suite to understand business needs and recommends effective learning solutions.
    • Designs and develops creative learning experiences and programs, modules, and materials including: simulations, microlearning, videos, interactive digital learning (eLearning) modules, case studies, infographics, and other related deliverables.
    • Designs storyboards and prototypes.
    • Partners with the LMS (Docebo) team for integration, tracking, and system reporting.
    • Evaluates learning solutions through surveys, performance data, and other relevant metrics and reports on training effectiveness and ROI
    • Collaborates with the Professional Excellence team, end users and stakeholders across the organization to share knowledge and best practices.
    • Stays up-to-date with current trends and best practices in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, and Learning Technologies.

    Requirements:

    • At least 3 years of corporate instructional design experience
    • Knowledge of adult learning theory and the ADDIE model
    • Experience forming relationships with Subject Matter Experts and stakeholders.
    • Experience developing eLearning (particularly software training) using Articulate 360
    • Experience developing training solutions that are end-to-end from training needs analysis, to content gathering, designing, implementing and evaluating
    • Experience developing eLearning module storyboards.
    • Designing and developing content maps, instructor guides, participant guides, job aids, eLearning storyboards, etc.

    Rexford Industrial’s reward plan includes highly competitive base salaries, bonus eligibility and long- term stock incentives. The expected salary range for this role is $60,000 to $90,000 with a 10% discretionary annual bonus target and stock grant eligibility. The actual hourly rate and total compensation offered depend on a variety of factors, which include, without limitation, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location where the job will be performed. The final base salary and total compensation will be described in any offer letters.
