The Learning Experience Designer (LXD) is a key contributor to the way we drive performance, resilience, culture, and learning operations. This creative consulting role interfaces with people across all functional areas, from Project Management to Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain Management, Product Introduction, Industry 4.0 and more, supporting career and competence growth, buildout of key learning programs, onboarding experience design, and a rapidly growing library of digital learning assets.
The LXD serves as primary contributor to content and curriculum development, eLearning course authoring, blended learning experiences, stakeholder/customer solutions consultation, and LMS/LXP solutions.
The ideal candidate is a customer-obsessed, system-level thinker who is digitally adept, insatiably curious, well-organized, agile, and above all driven by a passion to bring out the best in others. As a full-stack LXD, they will be skilled at execution across the entire LX lifecycle—from scoping to design, development, delivery, implementation, evaluation, project retrospectives, and continuous improvement. Preference for an ability to tell data-visualization stories that illustrate impact within and across case studies and familiarity with ISO competence management standards.

What you will do
- Consult on content and curriculum requests to investigate and pitch potential solutions to meet identified learning outcomes
- Design, develop and deliver learning assets appropriate to customer need
- Create storyboards, job aids, online tutorials, assessments, multi-week ILT, vILT, and combination self-paced, informal and blended LXD
- Publish and update learning content through the Docebo LMS platform
- Drive change management and behavior change in relation to competence
- Work in partnership with unit leaders, competence drivers and other stakeholders to boost competence, improve performance, and show the relationship between learning analytics and business results in driving performance excellence
- Develop and maintain content, pathways, and assessments for the smart manufacturing LX portfolio
- Evaluate and leverage learning analytics to make proposals for improvements to LX solutions, workflows, and assets
- Report on competence, compliance, process improvement, and performance metrics
- Coordinate cross-functional teams of SMEs to develop and optimize learning assets
- Manage content version control and training records to meet ISO quality management standards

You will bring
- BA or BS degree in a relevant field (e.g., instructional design, organizational development, business transformation, change management) and/or relevant experience
- Portfolio of learning experiences and assets, to include, storyboards, job aids, online tutorials, assessments, multi-week ILT, VILT, self-paced, informal and blended LXD
- Experience with CMS and LMS platforms
- Data and digital literacy
- Solid project management skills including planning cross-functional work, managing timelines, keeping multiple tasks/projects on track, and keeping stakeholders informed
- Self-motivated to acquire knowledge and skills on new products, procedures, technologies
Preferred Experience
- Master’s degree in related field
- Proven work experience with career progression in the field of instructional design, talent development, or performance transformation, including significant experience in designing and delivering learning solutions to large organizations.
- Extensive experience with authoring tools, such as Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, or similar
- Extensive experience with Adobe creative cloud, especially Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Functional knowledge of JavaScript, HTML and CSS
- Advanced multimedia development in audio, video, and/or animation
- Experience with emerging trends for content creation (e.g. gamification, xAPI)
This role reports to the Manager of Learning & Development.
