We are looking for a Program Manager, Learning Experience Design, for our Amazon Last Mile team.
The Program Manager, Learning Experience Design, will be responsible for supporting North America DSP Training program, owning the design, creation, and management of curriculum for the NA DSP training portfolio. This role may also support new initiatives to improve the overall learning experience for NA-DSPs.

Key job responsibilities

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to identify the business problem or need for their learners. Identify gaps, assess needs, create goals, and work backwards to develop right-sized solutions.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and program stakeholders to identify learning outcomes and design curriculum for both virtual and in-person learning environments.
  • Design and develop eLearning modules, scenarios, simulations, videos, performance evaluations, job aides, instructor-led training, virtual instructor-led training, and knowledge assessments.
  • Drive continuous improvement of cross-functional training programs.
  • Partner closely with change management stakeholders to refine and update content in a timely manner.
  • Measure impact and quickly revise content/modality to address specific feedback, as needed.
  • Manage projects amidst ambiguity, competing priorities, and challenging deadlines.
  • Maintain knowledge of new developments in learning science, learning design, and learning analytics through continuous research to ensure our solutions deliver innovation.
  • Upload, test and maintain content on a learning management system (LMS).

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years experience in program or project management
  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
  • Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
  • 3+ years in an instructional design/training/learning role
  • Bachelors or Master’s Degree in Instructional Design, Education Technology, or similar field
  • Experience working with eLearning authoring and multi-media development tools such as Articulate Studio/Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop/Illustrator, Flash or any similar content authoring/development tool

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience in instructional design within related field (delivery, logistics, fulfillment, assembly, installation, etc.)
  • Experience in developing virtual reality training or developing mobile training
  • Intermediate/Advanced knowledge of Web Development (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience with internationalization and localization
  • Experience in the creation, delivery and evaluation of instructional content that supports multiple methods of delivery (classroom, on-the-job, virtual, online, etc.)
  • Experience collaborating with stakeholders & SMEs
  • Experience explaining complex topics to a novice audience
  • Demonstrated use of multiple learning methods and linking appropriate methods with learners and outcomes.
  • Ability to assess training effectiveness to stakeholders and leaders
