ClassLink’s Learning Design (LD) team makes magic happen, one learning experience at a time and we’re looking to find a passionate, outgoing team member who enjoys the agile course development process. As a Learning Experience (LX) Designer, you’ll be part of a dynamic team responsible for crafting “just in time” micro-learning experiences that support adult learners.
The LX Designer is responsible for owning the course development process and full spectrum project management to support the learning and development needs of customers and employees.
What Will You Do?
- Design, build, and update stellar online learning experiences using authoring tools (Rapid authoring tool experience, preferred)
- Apply company standards, styles, and branding throughout all work
- Leverage adult learning and multimedia theories to develop relevant learning experiences
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) within and outside the company to create seamless learning experiences for learners while gaining product knowledge
- Strive to raise the bar on ClassLink’s learning experiences
- Develop high-quality videos using video editing software
- Influence key stakeholders to continually invest in product improvements
- Work independently and collaboratively to problem solve and pivot between multiple priorities following an agile development schedule
- Other magical tasks as assigned
What Are The Required Qualifications?
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Masters or post-grad degree in Instructional Design (or similar field) preferred
- 5+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning, or similar field
- Rapid content development experience
- Video editing software experience (e.g., Camtasia, Adobe Premiere)
- Demonstrated portfolio of work
- Previous remote work experience a plus
- Travel: Minimal, as needed (5-10%). The team usually connects twice a year for in-person meetings

- Comfortable with joining virtual meetings with your webcam activated
This fully remote position will be reporting directly to the Director of Learning Design.
