    The Learning Experience Designer is responsible for the design and development of innovative learning solutions. They collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to plan, conceptualize, design, develop (author) and create highly interactive learning solutions that improve associate and business performance. This individual is also accountable for the delivery of learning experiences. This requires the ability to support the administration of our learning management system (LMS), and the expertise to introduce other learning technologies to deliver impactful learning solutions.
    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
    • Designs, develops and delivers/implements innovative and creative learning solutions (web-based training, technical training videos, job aids, guides, etc.) utilizing a variety of methods and authoring tools (advanced Articulate Storyline and/or Adobe Captivate experience is required. Experience using Adobe Suite tools – Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop – and Camtasia, Premiere or video editing software is helpful.)
    • Proposes, designs, develops and implements a wide variety of performance solutions that range from industry standard to creative, new approaches. Collaborates with the rest of the Learning & development team, subject matter experts (SMEs) and source materials to design and develop learning solutions, applying modern instructional design methodology, including leveraging best practices in UX and responsive design.
    • Employs iterative development methodologies. Flexes with business strategy changes and acts as a key contributor in a complex environment.
    • Identify new tools and emerging technology that will improve our efficiency in developing learning experiences and improve our existing processes for the creation and delivery of learning.
    • Use the tools and functions within our learning management system (LMS) to configure learning activities and deliver to the proper audience; understand and apply security roles, notifications, uploading and updating of content.
    • Independently prioritize and accomplish multiple projects and tasks within established time frames.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
    Education and/or Experience
    • Bachelor’s degree in Education, Adult Learning, Communication, or related field required.
    • Master’s degree in Performance Improvement, Education Technology, Instructional Design, Education, Interactive Media or Learning Systems preferred.
    Skills/Specialized Knowledge
    • Experience developing eLearning (web-based training modules).
    • Technical training videos (script writing, production and video editing).
    • Documentation, presentations and other training materials maintained in a Learning Management System (LMS).
    • Advanced skills and experience with Articulate Storyline.
    • Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, Captivate, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and other learning authoring tools is required.
    Other Requirements
    • Ability to travel up to 20% of the time.
