CORE RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

This position is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of The Americas Group (TAG) sales enablement tool (ONSET). Additionally, this position will lead the learning design team and overall experience for TAG learners.

  • Learning Technology
    • Lead the Learning Technology team and ensure that TAG has a sales enablement tool focused on continual improvement, innovation and ultimately end-user engagement, adoption, and usage.
    • Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of virtual training through the system.
    • Grow and expand the learning curriculum.
    • Oversee the learning management system, understanding system functionality and configuration.
      • Lead troubleshooting efforts to investigate and resolve course issues on the LMS.
      • Provide backup LMS support including user administration and web design.
    • Remain current on all new releases and ensure stakeholders are capitalizing on all new features and benefits.
    • Manage system upgrades with minimal impact on learners.
    • Monitor system for errors and audit the system functions on a regular basis.
    • Build strategic relationship with vendor(s) as well as potential third-party vendor integrations. Leverage these relationships and influence for development of new functionality that would benefit the end users.
    • Oversee data analysis and reporting of training and engagement metrics.
    • Work with content/curriculum owners to ensure training programs, modules, files, and materials are up-to-date and relevant.
    • Support future evaluation and potential transition of various modules to ONSET.
    • Provide consultative feedback to internal training managers on training content, design, and deployment
  • Learning Design – creative, video, design
    • eLearning
      • Work collaboratively with internal and external partners to develop plan of content, production, and distribution of a wide range of training content.
      • Ensure eLearning and video content is up-to-date and relevant.
      • Partner with L&D teams and other business stakeholders to deploy storyboards, scripts, templates, and assets.
      • Support creation of engaging and interactive eLearning using solid graphic and instructional design principles.
      • Provide consultative feedback and updates to project stakeholders.
      • Conduct quality assurance tests on all eLearning and video projects to ensure a flawless user experience.
      • Integrate tools for authoring and publishing best in class training content.
      • Stay informed of new and emerging trends in learning technology and communication.
    • Editing/Video
      • Support idea development, video production, and live broadcasts.
      • Oversee and advise as needed on pre-production planning to ensure efficient and high-quality work.
      • Manager and oversee post-production edits, use digital software to transform video and sound files to final product.
    • Graphic Design
      • Manage and oversee graphic design support for multiple partners and stakeholders
    • Follow or implement consistent branding guides for platforms, eLearning courses, graphic design, and video content.
    • Oversight, training, support, and management of direct reports to maintain quality standards and delivery in a timely manner.
    • Looks for ways to improve processes, efficiency, and driving shareholder value through cost reduction/sales efficiencies.
    • Develops and improves project management using latest technology for clear communication with project stakeholders
    • Attend meetings and training events as required.
    • Completes required paperwork/reports in a timely manner. This includes but is not limited to mileage tracking, expense reporting, etc.Project, Program, and People Leadership

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

FORMAL EDUCATION:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience

Preferred:

  • BA/BS in Business, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development & Effectiveness, Instructional Design, or related field required and/or certifications in a variety of L&D areas

KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE:

Required:

  • 4 Years of successful Learning & Development Experience
  • Experience working with different creative platforms
  • Media Design
  • Project Management

Preferred:

  • Experience with sales and retail business environment.
  • Advanced level of knowledge of professional design tools, such as PowerPoint, Articulate Storyline, Learning Management Systems, Online Classrooms (Skype, Zoom, Adobe Connect) to build effective and repeatable training content
  • Experience with creating content in an app-based forum
  • Instructional Design Experience
