What we do:
The New York Fed is looking for Learning and Development Strategist who will help us enhance and
exemplify our commitment to being a “people-first” organization where employees are heard, respected, and valued. This position will provide a unique opportunity to work the entire learning solution project lifecycle including conducting skills gap and needs assessments, aligning learning and development programs to our people strategy, designing and developing training curriculum and materials in different delivery modes (e.g., instructor-led, in-person or virtual training, self-paced training, eLearning, videos, infographics, supporting guides, etc.) as well as measuring impact and effectiveness of deployed learning solutions.
You will report to the Chief Learning Officer and design and promote the Bank’s learning and development strategy across the organization. You will help define the Bank’s learning standards and promote a learning culture that enables our employees to grow and develop professionally.
Your role as Learning & Development Strategist:
- Leverages established models to understand business needs, conduct root cause/organizational assessment and diagnosis, problem solve, generate analysis and insights, and innovate.
- Monitors projects and support staff related to L&D initiatives and ongoing learning programs.
- Collects and analyzes quantitative and qualitative data to generate fact-based recommendations and measurement of progress.
- Develops and implements interventions that leverage and are well aligned with the products and services that exist within L&D, managing small and large-scale projects, and when needed, outside consultants, to provide products and services needed to further OD and L solutions.
- Conducts methodologically sound needs analyses to identify competency requirements associated with core Bank-wide development activities, including classroom or technology-based training.
- Analyzes and evaluates the impact of Learning interventions and programs on an ongoing basis to ensure effectiveness and desired performance improvement are achieved.
- Assists in developing and executing plans to evolve L&D initiatives in support of the Bank`s current and future business goals.
- Works with key stakeholders on needs/gap analysis and consulting on learning experiences to address needs/goals of the organization.
What we are looking for:
- Demonstrated experience in learning and development programs.
- Demonstrated expert design and development across modalities.
- Experience leading communications initiatives, planning, and logistics for learning programs.
- Proven experience utilizing data for recommendations and tracking progress.
Salary Range: $116300 – $161500 / year
