    A day in the life.

    As our Learning & Development Manager, BI, you will be responsible for managing the BI segment of our enterprise Learning & Development (L&D) function. You will collaborate with regional and national Sales, Service, Operations, and MarComm teams to access and understand opportunities for training needs to support BI initiatives and expand colleagues’ skills and expertise. You will manage colleague and carrier/vendor training by developing and curating training materials, facilitating and/or moderating enterprise programming, and measuring the effectiveness of all enterprise BI programs. In addition, you will oversee and lead MMA University’s National BI Early Career Program by managing and maintaining the entire program experience.

     

    Additional responsibilities will include:

    • Set strategy and goals for BI Learning & Development each year in alignment with business goals and KPI’s.
    • Partnering with the national Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to organize and maintain the BI education pages in MMA University as well as content creation and sessions/offerings to ensure the BI catalog and education pages are relevant and engaging.
    • Update and maintain training materials and tools (i.e., decks, PDF’s, eLearnings, LMS, and reference materials) to reflect feedback and business changes.
    • Building and maintaining BI carrier relationships to drive collaboration to offer exceptional training opportunities to achieve success.
    • Manage and provide oversight with our enterprise CE offerings and designation providers.
    • Support the development and communication of L&D programs and practices.
    • Occasional travel for meetings and in-person trainings

    • Proven ability to work across all levels of an organization, including internal and external stakeholders and senior leadership
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Engaging in-person and virtual facilitation skills with a 3+ years experience in presenting to a diverse group
    • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize and balance multiple projects

     

    These additional qualifications are a plus, but not required to apply:

    • 3+ years of insurance or financial services experience
    • Experience with content authoring systems and webinar platforms, i.e., Adobe Captivate, Camtasia and Zoom
    • Knowledge of technology systems such as Sagitta, ImageRight, SalesForce, and Indio

    The applicable base salary range for this role is $55,400-$118,100. The base pay offered will be determined on factors such as experience, skills, training, location, certifications, education, and any applicable minimum wage requirements. Decisions will be determined on a case-by-case basis. In addition to the base salary, this position may be eligible for performance-based incentives.
