    JOB DESCRIPTION:

     

    The Manager of Learning & Development will provide support in the ongoing planning, implementation, and development of Take 5 Car Wash’s curriculum and instructional services, learning management system, training videos, and system wide training rollouts. The Manager ensures that all training systems yield the highest standards of shop execution and instructional excellence.

     

    Job Responsibilities:

    • Plan, write and design training curricula, materials and programs including, but not limited to, functional technical skills, leadership development, and new initiatives.
    • Partner with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure accuracy and effectiveness of training materials throughout the process.
    • Manages and develops engaging and intuitive eLearning content (including modules, scripts, videos, quizzes, etc.).
    • Ensures the LMS is maintained, organized, and has up-to-date relevant content.
    • Uses learning and instructional design theory in collaboration with the Director of Learning & Development to complete needs assessment, develop and test, and deploy solutions.
    • Validates and measures effectiveness of training program, including field visits, roundtables, focus groups and surveys.
    • Monitors completion of compliance courses for corporate units.
    • Drafts internal communication to deliver information to our field employees in collaboration with our support departments, filtering them for shop level understanding, and then consolidating them into one formal message to be sent to all members of the Take 5 Car Wash organization.
    • Other tasks reasonably aligned with the functions required to ensure the communication and training needs are met from leadership’s expectations.

     

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor’s degree
    • Experience in curriculum design/creation
    • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
    • Great interpersonal skills
    • Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud programs preferred
    • Experience with Docebo LMS preferred
